Description
Tender steak bites coated in a luscious honey garlic butter sauce, ready in under 30 minutes. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or an impressive party dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound (450 g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, optional, for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the sirloin steak into bite-sized cubes, about 1 inch each. Pat them dry with a paper towel to ensure a good sear. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Set aside.
- Place your skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Heat until shimmering but not smoking.
- Add the steak bites in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and caramelized. Don’t overcrowd the pan—work in batches if necessary.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan and let it melt, tossing the steak bites to coat them in the buttery goodness.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture over the steak bites. Stir well to coat each piece, and let the sauce bubble and thicken for about 2 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
