Description
Quick and customizable tortilla pizza rolls packed with flavor, perfect for lunch, snacks, or appetizers.
Ingredients
- Medium-sized flour tortillas
- Pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Pepperoni slices
- Italian seasoning
- Optional toppings: diced bell peppers, black olives, cooked sausage crumbles, fresh basil
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it for easy cleanup.
- Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface. Spread 2-3 tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly over each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce. Add more or less depending on your preference.
- Layer pepperoni slices over the cheese. Feel free to overlap them slightly for extra flavor.
- Optional: Add any extra toppings like diced bell peppers, olives, or cooked sausage crumbles for a personalized touch.
- Roll each tortilla tightly into a log. Make sure to roll evenly so the filling doesn’t spill out.
- Brush the outside of each roll with olive oil and sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning or garlic powder for added flavor.
- Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. This helps them stay rolled up while baking.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the tortillas are lightly golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before slicing into bite-sized pieces. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Use fresh, pliable tortillas to avoid cracking when rolling. Experiment with toppings for unique flavors. Reheat in the oven for crispiness.
