Description
This creamy baked Boursin salmon recipe combines tender, flaky salmon with rich, herby Boursin cheese for an indulgent yet easy dinner idea.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 skinless salmon fillets
- 5 ounces Boursin cheese (garlic and herb flavor)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Optional: fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or chives)
- Optional: vegetables (cherry tomatoes, asparagus, or zucchini)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease your baking dish with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to ensure they bake evenly. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the Boursin cheese, heavy cream, and minced garlic. Whisk until smooth and creamy. If the mixture feels too thick, add a splash of milk or cream to thin it out slightly.
- Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, leaving a small gap between each one. Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the top of each fillet.
- Spoon the Boursin cheese mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring they’re fully covered. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the top.
- If you’re adding vegetables, arrange them around the salmon in the baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the dish to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Once done, remove the baking dish from the oven and let it rest for 2-3 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs for an extra pop of color and flavor.
